Dandy and Gloria show Jimmy that the twins are not only alive, but very well treated. When Bett tells Jimmy that it was Dandy who saved the kids from Twisty the clown, Jimmy realizes that the second clown was indeed Dandy. He asks the twins to leave, and when Dot learns that Dandy has read her secret diary and knows about the surgery, she convinces Bett as well to leave with Jimmy.
When they are back at the camp, Jimmy is about to reveal to everyone how Elsa sold them to Dandy. But Dot has quite a different story. She tells that she asked Elsa to bring them there, because they wanted to have a taste of a different life, but eventually changed their mind.
In return for keeping her secret safe, Bett asks Elsa for some favors and for money. Elsa writes a note for Dot, who reads it while Bett is asleep. She asks Dot about her heart’s desire, and she will help her have it.
Dot replies, writing Elsa that she wants help to find a surgeon called Dc. Sugar, and convince him to perform the
surgery that will separate her from Bett.
Elsa talks about all this with Stanley, and asks him to locate that doctor for her. Stanley suggests to just kill them both (it would be much more convenient for him, obviously).
Desiree and Ethel learn that Doctor Bonham is dead.
He killed himself, after being attacked by Dell.
Stanley says to Dell that he saw him in the club looking for Andy (who was killed by Dandy). So he tells him that he needs him to kill one of the freaks, and he won’t reveal Dell’s secret.
So Dells tries with Amazon Eve, but he gets beaten up pretty badly in return.
Eve tells Ethel and Jimmy about what happened. Jimmy later talks to Dell, and he says he was just tryng to talk to Eve about doing an act for the Show together, when she suddely started to hit him.
Jimmy’s drunk after a night spent with Dell drinking. He tells him he know he’s his father, just before Dell tries to hit him. Dell realizes he can’t do that, and Jimmy warns him that Ethel and the others want to kill him for what he has done to Amazon Eve.
Maggie Esmeralda wants to leave the camp immediately with Jimmy, but he’s worried about the twins, and about Dandy.
In the end, Dell decides to kill the most vulnerable of all the freaks, the sweet Ma Petite. Stanley has finally the first
“freak” piece to sell to the American Morbidity Museum.
