Another year of movies will bring us another year of the not-so-prestigious but equally entertaining MTV Movie Awards. Plenty of buzzworthy movies have made the cut this year and we think fans will be very happy. The nominations this year include plenty of blockbusters and award winners already.
At the top with the most nominations includes “American Hustle” and “The Wolf of Wall Street” with 8 nominations each.
You can head on over to MTV.com now to begin voting. Don’t forget to tune in to the 2014 MTV Movie Awards on April 13th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. This year’s show will be hosted by Conan O’Brien.

Normally, I wouldn’t be that excited for the MTV Movie Awards. This year however, I’m looking forward to it. This will be the first year in a long, long time that the show won’t be the Twilight awards. This marks the first time in a long, long time that the movies nominated are actually movies that could give us a good night of television. Movies from Silver Linings Playbook, Django Unchained, and Perks of Being a Wallflower and Ted all have the most nominations. I’m so happy to see Perks getting the recognition it deserves, even if it’s just MTV.
The awards air April 14th on MTV with Rebel Wilson as the host.

Last night during the Jersey Shore reunion, a new commercial revealed that comedy actress Rebel Wilson will be hosting the 2013 MTV Movie Awards! Rebel, known recently for her breakout roles in Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect, will host the award show when it airs live from California on April 14th.
Being tied up by those chain looks tiring and makes me want to get in bed. I need a new mattress. Anyone try organic or memory foam? I was thinking of organic mattress boston or a cooling pillow. Will you be tuning in to the MTV Movie Awards?
Will Twilight dominate every award again? What will win when that series finally ends?
This was definitely one of the hottest moments at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Fans and viewers at home and in the audience got a treat when Joe Manganiello came out on stage wearing his fireman costume from Magic Mike..and not much else. He’s so beautiful that this outfit is perfect for him. Shirts should never be necessary when it comes to him. All we need is a single jacket fire hose and a dalmatian to complete the look. I don’t think Elizabeth Banks would mind if he rescued her from a fire.
The stars gathered for another night in MTV history tonight for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. The event was hosted by Russell Brand and seemed relatively low-key when you think about past award shows on the network. Then again, it might just be the VMA’s that deliver the shocking moments and give the censors something to think about.

What did you think of the show tonight? It seemed a lot of the jokes were a bit forced and awkward and just..not funny. I miss the moments when Best Kiss was accompanied by an epic moment everyone was talking about the next day. Or really, any moment people would be talking about the next day. Remember Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling? Amazing. Russell Brand seemed nice enough but I was more captivated by the cold looks he was receiving by random people in the audience for his jokes. Not even laboratory ovens or a roaring fire could have warmed up that one highly unamused girl in the audience.
